Plainfield and Homer Glen both saw an increase of more than 24,000 residents,
and Huntley grew by almost 19,000 residents. Other large cities with a high
rate of population growth included Elgin, Naperville, Waukegan, Evanston and

In order to compile the rankings, Homes.com used listing price data
from its own website. So what are the most expensive neighborhoods in Chicago? The answer is the Lincoln Park and North Side neighborhoods. <br /><br />The average cost of a residence in Lincoln Park is $1,093,533 and the average cost of a North Side residence is $1,269,693.<br />
<br />
The other most expensive Chicago neighborhoods are as follows:<br />
Wrightwood, Lower West Side and Bridgeport.<br /><br />And the least expensive real estate is Barletts, where an average residence costs $11,500.<br /><br />Other less expensive neighborhoods include Riverdale, Englewood and West Englewood. <br />
<br />
Homes.com also used data from their website to rank Chicago rental listings by price.<br />
<br />
The most expensive rents are in Museum Park, near South Side and near North Side. An average rental in Museum Park costs $3,450.<br />
<br />

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest building in the world, and it was designed by Smith, too.<br />
<br />
Now, the Chicago architect is at it again, designing what will be the tallest building in the world by far.<br />
<br />
Smith and his Chicago-based firm, Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, have developed plans to build the Kingdom Tower by a Red Sea port in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.<br />
<br />
The building will reach more than 1,300 meters. In comparison, the tallest building in Chicago and the country is the Willis Tower, and that stands at a mere 442 meters high.<br />
<br />
Kingdom Tower will provide housing to an area that desperately needs it. The project is the first phase of <br />
<a name='more'></a>Kingdom City, a community that will cost about $20 billion and take around 10 years to construct.<br />
